Everything is different and a little new

The original trail 2023 starts at the Neißehafen in Rothenburg. First, you and your team run a 1km introductory lap to warm up. Then it goes along the Neisse to Nieder-Neundorf. Here you jump into the boats and head back to Rothenburg. Once again over the obstacles, a beautiful running route to paradise awaits you. Then the NAR obstacles again and the final sprint to the finish on the team ski!

NAR Light Trail

2024 without wheel and handlebars

Yes, as stated, we have renewed a few things. Among other things, the Light Trail will take place for the first time without bikes and handlebars. This makes it easier for all participants who don't live nearby. This means there is no longer any need to transport the bikes and the trail is still family-friendly and team-building.

You start in the Neißehafen with an introductory lap. After the first straw obstacle, the route continues along the Neisse to Nieder-Neundorf. Here you jump into the boats and travel back to Rothenburg where, after obstacles and the team ski, the finish awaits you.

Light Trail 2023

NAR 10 km Walk

Start: Lodenau in front of the former Bergschänke

Destination: Neiße-Tours port Rothenburg

From the start of the main street go to the junction to the excavator hole. (0.5km)

Follow the marked path to the excavator hole. (2km)
Aid point!

Continue to the Bremenwerk (3 km)

On the marked path along the Neisse, past the police school to “Kero” (5 km)

Turn left and through the Neißeaue to Stadtpark (marked path) (7.5 km)

Through the city park, past Martinshof along Tormersdorfer Allee to the destination.

NAR 30 km Walk

Start and finish: Neiße-Tours port Rothenburg

Walk “Am Mühlgraben” to Görlitzer Str. 100 m towards town then (2 km)
Turn left, cross the disused railway line and follow the bush path
go to the edge of the forest. Along the edge of the forest past enclosures to the watershed, (4 km)

From the watershed turn right on marked hiking trails to (8.5 km)
Dunkelhäuser, right through the town in the direction of Bremenhain, Am Ortsaus-
Turn left onto the forest path.

Follow the forest path to the Neusorge-Hähnichen local road. (13km)

Cross this and continue on the forest path until you reach the Spree. (15km)
There is a refreshment point in Spreeaufwurf!

From the Spree on the road to Muskauer Str. Take a short turn to the right (17.5 km)
Follow then turn left towards Neiße.

Follow the marked hiking trail from the “Brechenden Ufer” to Lodenau. (21km)

Follow the marked path to the excavator hole. (22km)
Refreshment point at the excavator hole

Continue following the marked path: (27 km)
Bremenwerk, Neiße high bank, police school, Neiße floodplain, city park

Through the city park past Martinshof along the Tormersdorfer (30.5 km)

Avenue to the destination.
